1. Scope of services
Alpha Tiger Logistics Pvt Ltd ("Alpha Tiger") provides freight brokerage, NVOCC-style cross-border coordination, and managed transportation services for shippers across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. We arrange transportation using vetted third-party carriers. We do not operate motor carrier equipment ourselves unless expressly stated in writing.
2. Website use
You agree to use the website lawfully and not to misuse it, attempt to disrupt it, scrape it for commercial purposes without permission, or interfere with other users. We may suspend access for abuse.
3. Quotes and binding rates
Rates and transit times shown on the website, in the calculator, or in any automated tool are estimates only and not a binding offer. A binding rate is created only when a senior operator confirms it in writing (email, signed rate confirmation, or via our operations platform) after reviewing the full load details, equipment, accessorials, and any fuel surcharges in effect.
4. Accessorials and charges
Quoted rates assume standard service. Detention, layover, lumper, reattempt, rework, scale, border, drayage, in-bond, and other accessorial charges apply when incurred and will be passed through with documentation. Pre-approved accessorials are documented in TigerTrack.
5. Liability
Cargo liability for shipments moving in the United States is governed by the terms of the contract carrier's bill of lading and the Carmack Amendment (49 U.S.C. § 14706) where applicable, subject to any agreed declared value or tariff limitations. For cross-border and international movements, liability is governed by the applicable convention or carrier tariff (for example CMR-style limits, CTPAT carrier obligations, or the underlying carrier's terms). Alpha Tiger's brokerage liability is limited to the value of the transportation charges for the shipment in question, except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct. Neither party is liable for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages.
6. Insurance
We carry contingent cargo and broker liability insurance. Carriers must maintain primary cargo and auto liability insurance in line with industry standards. Certificates can be requested from our operations team.
7. Payment terms
Default invoice terms are net thirty (30) days from invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments may accrue interest at the lower of 1.5% per month or the maximum permitted by law. Disputed amounts must be raised within fifteen (15) days of invoice date.
8. Confidentiality
Each party will protect the other's non-public business information with at least the same care it uses for its own confidential information and will not disclose it except as needed to perform the services or as required by law.
9. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for delay or failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, port closures, customs holds, strikes, terrorism, war, pandemics, or government action. Affected obligations are suspended for the duration of the event.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any arbitration clause in an executed Shipper or Carrier Agreement, the courts at Chandigarh, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from the website or these terms.
11. Modification
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance.
